Job Description:
Red Hat is looking for Software Engineering Trainees to join their team in Pune and Bangalore. As a trainee, you will be an active contributor, working closely with a senior mentor to gain hands-on experience in software engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining code in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
- Debugging, adding new features, and tracking issues in Red Hat products (e.g., RHEL, OpenShift)
- Collaborating with various departments such as Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Designers
- Networking with fellow interns in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Participating in Red Hat’s Apprenticeship Program, offering professional development, social engagement, and meaningful work
What You Will Bring:
- Basic knowledge of Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
- Passion and curiosity to learn new things and explore how systems work
