Responsibilities
The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and implement comprehensive solutions within the Salesforce platform to enhance critical business processes. Core development responsibilities include creating custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), while maintaining triggers, workflows, and process automation to streamline operations. The role involves integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
Customization and configuration duties encompass customizing standard and custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts, implementing robust security controls, including user roles, profiles, and sharing rules, and configuring Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud modules to meet specific business requirements. The developer will collaborate closely with Salesforce admins, business stakeholders, product owners, and fellow developers to gather requirements, propose technical solutions aligned with business objectives, and troubleshoot system performance issues.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing Salesforce system performance, conducting regular audits for data quality and efficiency, providing technical support and training to end-users, reviewing Salesforce release notes to identify risks and beneficial features, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of system designs and development processes while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years proven experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative features (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules)
- Knowledge of Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and other APIs
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or other relevant certifications
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins or Salesforce DX
- CPQ experience is a bonus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to system improvement
