Responsibilities
- Partner closely with product management to identify, scope, and estimate work for the team
- Contribute to proof of concepts (POCs) and perform both quantitative and qualitative technology comparisons
- Design, develop, and maintain platforms for the security business group
- Help develop applications and solutions that enable Cisco and its customers to be more data-driven
- Optimize day-to-day operations and strategy through technological solutions
Requirements
- 1-3 years of designing and development experience
- Strong programming skills with a focus on React, TypeScript, and Java
- Experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Ability to translate difficult problems into effective solutions
- Familiarity with Git, Confluence, and Jira
- Excellent communication skills and ability to summarize information concisely
- Agile, pragmatic approach to development
- Self-motivated with the ability to plan and prioritize work assignments
Bonus Skills
- Experience working with public cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Knowledge of Spark, Kafka
- Experience with Golang and Terraform
