How to Apply
Career Advice: Standing Out as a Salesforce Developer
When applying for senior Salesforce positions, don’t just list your certifications—tell the story behind your projects. Hiring managers want to see how you approached complex problems, optimized solutions under governor limits, and collaborated with non-technical stakeholders. Create a portfolio showcasing 2-3 key projects with before-and-after metrics (e.g., “Reduced API callouts by 40%” or “Improved page load time from 8 seconds to 2 seconds”). Also, stay active in the Salesforce community through Trailhead, Stack Exchange, or local developer groups—this demonstrates your passion for continuous learning and keeps your skills sharp in a rapidly evolving platform.
