Responsibilities
As a Senior Salesforce Developer at Motorola Solutions, you will:
- Perform hands-on technical implementation with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform
- Take a lead role in the solution design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of Salesforce projects
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration, including custom objects, Apex, triggers, reports, workflows, and assignment rules
- Design and develop solutions using the Apex programming language and Lightning Web Components
- Develop integration solutions using Salesforce.com and 3rd party APIs
- Perform comprehensive unit testing and defect fixes
- Collaborate with internal clients and users to understand business needs and develop appropriate Salesforce solutions
- Present effectively to stakeholders across different levels – from executive leadership to technical teams
- Work in a consultative role with Technology Managers and IT Executive Leadership
- Handle ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
- Follow SDLC and Agile best practices, techniques, and technologies
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience
- 4+ years of experience developing and managing complex Salesforce solutions
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Apex programming language
- Experience with Lightning Web Components
- Knowledge of custom objects, triggers, reports, workflows, and assignment rules
- Experience with Salesforce.com and 3rd party API integrations
- Unit testing and debugging capabilities
- Thorough knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM solutions
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Preferred Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
Professional Skills:
- Excellent presentation skills for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Strong consultative approach with technical and business teams
- Ability to work effectively across different organizational levels
