Responsibilities
As a Frontend Software Engineer on the Collections Team, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance frontend systems
- Participate in or lead code and design reviews, contributing to architecture-level discussions
- Develop and implement coding and design review guidelines to improve code quality and consistency
- Lead cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering leaders
- Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers, sharing best practices and elevating team expertise
- Take ownership of improving frontend architecture across performance, bundle size, lazy loading, and other optimization pillars
- Drive impactful engineering outcomes that enhance user experience for millions of developers
- Set and maintain high standards for operational excellence
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with frontend technologies: React, TypeScript, Node.js & MobX
- Customer-centric mindset with a willingness to tackle challenges of varying complexity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action and execution
- Ability to make informed decisions, ensuring security, performance, and reliability
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices through code reviews
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Product-oriented mindset focused on creating delightful user experiences
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities
- Experience with frontend performance optimization
- Understanding of modern build tools and bundling strategies
