Responsibilities
- Influence a growing team while acting as a technical guide, being able to speak conceptually, document architecturally, and be comfortable doing hands-on configuration
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our Salesforce CPQ system to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience
- Configure, customize, and administer Salesforce CPQ solutions
- Quickly learn the existing Salesforce CPQ system and identify areas of improvement
- Design scalable solutions using configuration to support business functions and product goals
- Work in and around platform limits with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Support and maintain current Salesforce instance(s), including data model, coding best practices, user permissions, integrations, and security settings
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to CPQ implementation
- Stay current with emerging Salesforce and industry trends, best practices, and technologies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and automation
- Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including Product Rules, Price Rules, Product Configuration and Bundling, Advanced Approvals, and MDQ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Systems), or equivalent experience
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Sales Cloud
- 3+ years of experience managing a Quote-to-Cash process
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ and experience configuring, customizing, and administering Salesforce CPQ solutions
- Experience in Salesforce technologies like Apex class, LWC, Triggers, REST APIs, and integrations
- Ability to quickly learn existing systems and identify improvement areas
- Certified Salesforce Administrator certification
- Certified Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
- Experience working in Salesforce CI/CD and CPQ deployment tools
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Experience working in an agile environment with a growth mindset
