As a Salesforce Developer at Barclays, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital landscape by driving innovation, revolutionizing our digital offerings, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will leverage your expertise in Salesforce technology to build robust, high-quality applications that meet business needs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing Salesforce applications, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Utilizing your expertise in Salesforce.com (SFDC), including Workflows, Validations, Approval Processes, Security Models, and Data Models.
- Working with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and performing hands-on customization with APEX, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch, Schedule Apex, and Test Classes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software.
- Applying Agile methodologies to software development and using tools such as Jira, SonarQube, Jenkins, Veracode, and BitBucket for version control and quality assurance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Salesforce.com (SFDC) Experience: Expertise in configuring and customizing Salesforce applications.
- Lightning Web Components: Strong experience in LWC.
- Customization: Hands-on experience in APEX, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch, and Schedule Apex.
- Salesforce Integration: Experience with REST API for Salesforce integrations.
- Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, SonarQube, Jenkins, and BitBucket.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong skills in identifying and solving technical issues.
- Security & Performance: Adherence to secure coding practices and optimizing performance.
