Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Developer at Indeed, you will be responsible for developing business features and technical capabilities within Indeed’s Salesforce instance and related data, services, and applications. You will:
- Be highly familiar with our core data models and APIs in Salesforce and internal data systems
- Understand how Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and Leads map to key business processes in our Sales and Client Success groups
- Drive the implementation and delivery of development projects
- Work directly with technical leaders, Product Managers, Program Managers, and business collaborators to ensure project success
- Grow your technical skills and knowledge of the Salesforce platform
- Learn new Salesforce products and technologies as the team implements them
- Create new components, data models, and APIs
- Add new functionality to existing components, data models, and APIs
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including functional analysis, development, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support
- Develop high-quality, scalable applications with Apex, Lightning Components, as well as declarative and configuration-driven development
- Work in the Salesforce.com development environment,t which includes custom objects, flows, triggers, the Force.com IDE, migration tools, SOQL, and web services/Rest APIs
- Integrate Salesforce.com with other systems, including SaaS applications from other vendors, REST APIs, event-driven systems, or data warehouses
- Apply best practices and design patterns to build applications on the Force.com platform
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of engaged experience in Salesforce development
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- Experience in developing Lightning web components, Aura components, Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Force.com IDE and SOQL
- Deft knowledge of Salesforce design, development & data structures
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
