Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Engineer 1, you will:
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into technical specifications
- Manage the delivery of functional and technical solutions, including system integrations
- Develop solutions following Salesforce best practices with 90 %+ code coverage
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other applications
- Perform functional testing and secure user acceptance
- Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials
- Stay current with new Salesforce releases to identify valuable features and potential impacts
- Handle administrative tasks including field creation, page layouts, process builders, flows, reports, and data management
- Work in a product-led development environment focusing on quality and velocity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Salesforce development experience in a similar role
- Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs and JSON data structures
- Proficiency in designing complex SOQL and SOSL queries
- Experience developing custom Lightning Web Components
- Skills in point-and-click development within Lightning environments
- Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit (Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Batch jobs)
- Understanding of code coverage requirements and governance limits
- Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
