Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer in the Cross Border Tech team, you will:
- Design, architect, and develop innovative technology solutions that reduce time to market and standardize execution for global expansion
- Build and operate scalable platforms to solve complex technical challenges in information extraction, large-scale computing, distributed systems, web applications, data mining, scalability, security, and algorithms
- Solve complex problems through data analysis rapidly and efficiently
- Develop state-of-the-art software systems that address complex and ambiguous requirements
- Take ownership of inputs and business outcomes through relentless auditing and metric monitoring
- Play a key role in stabilizing day-to-day operations and improving platform build and testing processes
- Ensure adherence to organizational software and security compliance standards
- Contribute to the evolution of Amazon’s Cross Border platform to tackle massive scale and layered complexity
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships)
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex, ambiguous requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
