Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Developer at Eviden, you will:
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions across both Classic and Lightning platforms
- Design and implement API integrations using REST API, SOAP services, and file transfer protocols (SFT)
- Create and customize Visual Force Pages and manage data operations using Data Loader
- Configure and optimize Outbound File Routing processes
- Work extensively with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with opportunities to explore additional Salesforce clouds
- Manage security configurations, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Public Groups, Sharing Settings, and Sharing Rules
- Develop robust Apex Classes, Triggers, and Batch jobs for complex business requirements
- Write efficient SOQL and SOSL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
- Understand and implement functional mapping of Salesforce object,s including Account, Contact, and Opportunity management
- Collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to address production issues and bugs
- Identify, track, and resolve production bugs using JIRA/ITSM tools while coordinating with development teams
- Participate in requirement analysis and solution design sessions
- Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices
- Contribute to global IT projects that shape the future of digital transformation
Requirements
Core Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working with the Salesforce platform
- Proficiency in both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience
- Strong experience with API development and integration (REST API, SOAP services, SFT)
- Expertise in Visual Force Page development and Data Loader operations
- Experience with Outbound File Routing configuration and management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Public Groups, Sharing Settings, and Sharing Rules
Development Expertise:
- Proficiency in Salesforce Apex Classes, Triggers, and Batch job development
- Strong command of SOQL and SOSL query languages
- Understanding of Salesforce object relationships and functional mapping (Account/Contact/Opportunity)
- Experience with Salesforce development best practices and governor limits
- Knowledge of deployment processes and change management
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with JIRA/ITSM tools for issue tracking and resolution
- Knowledge of additional Salesforce clouds (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Community Cloud) is advantageous
- Understanding of integration patterns and middleware solutions
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD processes
