Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer at BrowserStack, you will:
- Be part of a cross-functional team accountable for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment
- Handle both front-end and back-end coding responsibilities
- Research new technologies and adapt them to BrowserStack requirements
- Partner with external stakeholder project teams to gather functional and non-functional requirements
- Identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Work with and understand code from open-source projects
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech degree with 1-3 years of experience
- Experience with any back-end language (Ruby on Rails is a plus) and SQL/NoSQL database systems
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) and at least one JavaScript framework (Angular, React, etc.)
- Good hands-on experience in at least one of Ruby, NodeJS, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and good UX sense
- Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Good understanding of client-side development
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to rapidly iterate on product/platform features
- Analytical mindset with aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively work with global business and technical teams
- Startup mentality with high willingness to learn
- Experience as a UI developer is a significant plus
- Previous startup experience is highly valued
