Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Developer at Tekion, you will:
- Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ, including product rules, pricing logic, discount schedules, quote templates, and approval processes
- Develop custom functionality using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows to meet evolving business requirements
- Perform comprehensive Salesforce administrative tasks including user and license management, permission sets, profiles, page layouts, and report/dashboard development
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to CPQ configuration, quoting logic, flows, and user access
- Support integrations with ERP and other third-party applications as part of the broader quote-to-cash ecosystem
- Participate in testing, sandbox management, change management, and deployment processes using DevOps tools or change sets
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides
- Design, implement, configure, and customize Salesforce solutions that support Sales and Professional Services teams
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with at least 1 year focused on Salesforce CPQ
- Solid understanding of Salesforce CPQ features, including product bundles, pricing rules, quote templates, subscriptions, renewals, and amendments
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Components development
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce administration including user management and automation tools
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
- Experience working with CPQ APIs or custom pricing engines
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and deployment practices (SFDX, change sets, Gearset, or Copado)
