Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Engineer at Atlassian, you’ll be part of the passionate Sales Technology team working diligently to solve customer-centric problems and challenges. You’ll provide expertise to other Atlassians, design and implement Salesforce solutions, and develop integrations with Salesforce leveraging MuleSoft and microservices. The role involves building Go-to-Market selling motions and Partner Experiences with strong focus on Lead Management, Opportunity to Quote, and Channel Enablement domains.

Key responsibilities include being involved in all delivery aspects, supporting the customer-facing community with Sales Cloud environments in Lightning, and driving the development and maintenance of small to medium project deliverables. You’ll drive standardization, process consistency, and data quality across business processes while building effective working relationships with the SalesTech Product Management team and business stakeholders. The position requires ensuring software adherence to best practices through code and design reviews, analyzing technical design options, and implementing efficient, scalable solutions that meet acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of solution design and development experience building solutions on Experience Cloud/SF Partner Community
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce Lightning, creating custom lightning components in Aura and LWC frameworks
  • Working knowledge of SLDS and JavaScript
  • Full lifecycle experience in solution definition, development, and apex/unit testing
  • Deployment experience using ANT and SFDX
  • Migration tools experience (changeset/vscode/workbench) preferred
  • Strong analysis skills to understand business problems and propose technical solutions
  • Enterprise implementations experience with complex SFDC applications, reports, and workflows
  • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Web Services, SOQL, SOSL, AJAX, XML, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Experience developing and maintaining Visualforce, Force.com pages, and third-party integrations
  • Knowledge of user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, and flows
  • Strong technical and virtual collaboration skills
  • Salesforce Admin and Platform Developer I or Experience Cloud Consultant certifications
  • Working knowledge of GIT version control with Bitbucket/Github/Gitlab and deployment pipelines
  • Agile methodology knowledge (preferred)
  • Experience with Mulesoft/Workato integrations (preferred)
  • Marketo/Marketing Cloud experience (preferred)
  • Core Java knowledge (advantage)
